Publishing Rules

The electronic Financial Navigator Journal publishes only papers presented at the annual Digital Finance Conference, organized by the Department of Finance at the University of Economics – Varna in collaboration with the Bulgarian Fintech Association. It is not possible to submit manuscripts directly to the journal, therefore, authors should visit the conference website [link here] for submission details.

To be considered for publication, papers must address current issues in digital finance. They should be original, unpublished, and written in English. The length of the papers should be between 8 and 10 pages, including illustrative materials such as tables, figures, and diagrams. Manuscripts must follow a specific template and comply with the formatting guidelines provided. For bibliographic references, the Harvard citation style is used, which does not allow footnote citations.

All conference papers undergo double-blind peer review and are selected by the journal's editorial board, ensuring strict adherence to ethical publishing standards and copyright protection. The submitted papers are checked for originality using StrikePlagiarism. Papers found to contain plagiarism will not be published, and the authors will be added to the list of unethical practices.
